The Department of Modern Languages of the University of Prince Edward Island invites applications for a Sessional Instructor for the Winter 2024 Semester. We are seeking an instructor to teach the following course in the Department of Modern Languages. This position is subject to final budgetary approval. Please note: the courses offered below will be taught in person, unless otherwise specified as an online course. FR-1020 French Language and Culture II (3 Credits) (Online) This course proposes fundamentals of French and French culture through a progressive acquisition of basic communication skills and an understanding of the practices and products of French language and Francophone cultures. This course is open only to students who have a limited background in French. The French Placement test is mandatory in order to enroll. Qualifications: Successful applicants will have a graduate degree or a doctoral degree. Preference will be given to qualified candidates with seniority on the UPEI Sessional Roster and full-time and term contract Faculty members of the Academic unit.
