Position Summary
We are seeking a mature candidate with excellent phone and computer skills, a positive attitude, and a strong desire to be a team player.
As the first point of contact for our tennis customers, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service by managing bookings, membership administration, sports boutique sales, and cash handling. Additionally, you will assist staff with various activities to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of this first-class facility.
With previous practical experience, you will take pride in providing the highest standards of customer service. The ideal candidate will have the flexibility to work evenings and weekends, thrive in a team environment, and demonstrate a strong understanding of the sport of tennis. Knowledge of Gametime and Tennis Canada Instruction Certification would be an asset but are not essential.
Position Responsibilities
Customer Service & Member Engagement
Provide a welcoming and professional first impression for members and guests.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of both the Junior and Adult Tennis Programs.
Communicate and promote upcoming social events within the Tennis Centre.
Educate members on available services and programs.
Engage with members to foster a passion for the game and enhance their experience.
Administrative & Facility Support
Manage bookings and respond to inquiries promptly via email and in person.
Monitor and report building deficiencies to the appropriate department.
Assist the Tennis Centre Manager with projects as needed.
Attend team meetings as required.
Retail & Operations
Support merchandising and sales in the Sports Boutique.
Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
Adhere to all club and court rules, leading by example in professionalism and conduct.
Skills & Qualifications
Strong computer skills with the ability to respond promptly to emails and manage bookings.
Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
Experience in a customer service role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of the sport of tennis is an asset but not required.
Familiarity with Gametime software is an asset.

This position operates 100% on-site.
Regular evenings or weekend work required.
Own transportation is an asset as public transportation is not frequent to/from the Club.
