Position Description
Mercer International is looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Master Data Coordinator to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of master data within the SAP system for its Canadian sites. This role includes adherence to inventory policies and procedures to ensure effective data management. Responsibilities include resolving data quality issues and fostering a data-driven environment, while supporting efficient inventory management and reporting through robust data governance.

Responsibilities
Inventory Master Data Governance and Maintenance
:
Maintain inventory-related master data in SAP (primarily MM), ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Execute data change requests for inventory master data with proper documentation.
Conduct regular data quality checks and address inconsistencies.
Multi-Site Inventory Data Coordination
:
Serve as the main contact for inventory master data inquiries for Canadian sites.
Ensure consistent application of inventory data standards across all locations.
Facilitate communication between site teams on inventory data matters.
Inventory Data Quality and Compliance
:
Monitor inventory master data quality metrics.
Identify and help resolve root causes of inventory data errors.
Adhere to internal and external policies related to inventory data.
System and Process Improvement for Inventory Data
:
Identify opportunities to improve inventory master data processes.
Participate in SAP projects impacting inventory data.
Provide support to end-users on inventory master data procedures
Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience
Bachelors degree in relevant field and/or Supply Chain Designation (CSCP,SCMP)
Experience (2+ years) in SAP inventory master data management.
Proven experience with SAP-system, inventory management, and bill of material (BOM) management.
Strong understanding of SAP MM module and inventory-related master data.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) or similar data management tools.
Strong expertise in data analysis, data governance, and quality assurance.
Knowledge of inventory control principles.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Salary
The salary for this position is $65,000 - $97,000. Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
