Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a temporary 24 hr. live in caregiver for our male employer with Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 2 to assist with all activities of daily living.

The ideal candidate will be caring, attentive and can take direction well.

Location:

Burnaby, BC

Shifts & Hours of Work:

Temporary coverage July: 22nd, 24th and 29th and 30th 24 hr. shifts, start time 7:00am

Compensation:

$300 per day

Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):

Personal care such as showering, dressing assistance, toileting assistance, and repositioning Tube feeding and bi-pap support (putting on the mask, turning on, ect) Meal preparation and eating assistance Medication administration Light housekeeping duties: taking out garbage, laundry, dusting and cleaning

Overnight:

Pull out couch with double mattress Interventions approximately 2 to 4 times per night Bi-pap and repositioning
