Accountabilities:
Life safety and code announcements and notifications
Alarm monitoring and alert notifications
Physician and staff locating/paging
Answering/transferring internal and external calls
Providing information to internal and external customers
Equipment troubleshooting
Updating of information/policies/procedures and other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Recent work experience with UCCX contact centre technology
Recent experience using Engage/Vina communication system preferred
Familiarity with mobile device and smart phones and apps
High school diploma
A minimum of 40 words per minute typing speed required
Internet and Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency required
Proven excellent interpersonal and communication skills/customer service skills
Proven ability to work in stressful situations
Proven excellent multi-tasking ability
Proven excellent/reliable attendance record over the past 18 months required
Proven excellent punctuality and work record
Proven ability to exercise sound judgment within the context of departmental procedures
Must demonstrate Osler's Values of Respect, Excellence, Service, Compassion, Innovation and Collaboration
Medical terminology an asset
Proven team player
Travel Between all Osler sites required

Currently Days, Evenings, Nights including weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)
Hourly Salary:
Minimum: $24.72
Maximum: $26.60
