About the Role:
We seek a Technology Alignment Specialist to join our Ontario team. This role is pivotal in implementing our FIT Framework to ensure clients' IT environments are aligned with best practices and standards. You will perform regular technical audits, document findings, and collaborate with the vCIO and service delivery teams to address risks and optimize client infrastructures. By proactively aligning technology with clients' business strategies, you'll play a key role in reducing reactive support issues and enhancing IT performance to ensure long-term client success.
Responsibilities:
Conduct regular alignment reviews to assess client networks, systems, and processes against industry best practices and Fort44 standards.
Document alignment findings in detail, identifying risks, areas for improvement, and compliance with standards.
Collaborate with the vCIO and service team to address alignment gaps, prioritize remediation efforts, and communicate recommendations to clients.
Stay current on technology trends, industry standards, and best practices to continuously improve alignment services.
Maintain client confidence by ensuring their technology environment supports business objectives.
Provide input for client technology roadmaps to reduce reactive support and promote proactive solutions.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, system administration, or a similar technical role.
Familiarity with IT standards and best practices (e.g., security, backup, and network management).
Strong documentation skills with attention to detail.
Experience with Managed Service Provider (MSP) or environments is highly desirable.
Relevant technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or Cisco).
