JLL est a la recherche d'un(e) Technicien(ne) en batiment a Quebec. En tant que technicien(ne) en batiment, vous serez responsable de l'entretien et de la reparation des batiments commerciaux et industriels. Vous aiderez a maintenir des installations securitaires, fonctionnelles et accueillantes pour les occupants.



CE QUE VOUS FEREZ

Assurer l'entretien preventif et correctif de l'equipement, des batiments et des systemes connexes (Quai niveleur, nacelle, harnais, detection de gaz, balais mecanique, tracteur, trappe a graisse, pompes pluvial et sanitaire,etc.)



Repondre aux demandes de service des locataires



Mettre a niveau l'equipement et executer les taches d'entretien general, suivant les besoins



Surveiller les evenements speciaux et divers projets selon les echeanciers prevus



Surveiller les travaux confies a forfait et rapporter les anomalies;



Travailler etroitement avec les chefs d'equipe des contractants pour garantir le respect des normes du batiment



Inspecter le batiment sous tous les angles de fonctionnement

Faire executer les travaux de:

quincailleries de portes; de platrage et de peinture; de tuiles et carreaux. Executer certains de ces travaux mineurs



Maintenir l'ordre et la proprete dans les locaux de maintenance et d'entretien



Faire executer l'entretien et/ou reparation mineure des equipements d'eclairages et electriques du batiment et de plomberie



Inspecter les systemes de securite sur une base reguliere (systeme d'alarmes, lumieres d'urgences, gicleurs, extincteurs);



Apporter un soutien a l'equipe de gestion lors de l'absence du gestionnaire, Exploitation



Accomplir des taches urgentes imprevues sur appel et/ou en dehors des heures normales d'ouverture du centre commercial, lorsque des projets doivent etre termines



Inspecter l'exterieur des immeubles et s'assurer que les correctifs et l'entretien soient executes adequatement



Etre disponible en rotation les soirs de la semaine et les week-ends pour les appels d'urgence



Apporter un soutien a son superieur lors de mandats speciaux



Responsable de la mise a jour des informations liees au differents risques et validation avec son gestionnaire



Participer au reunion et tournees SST et faire effectuer certains correctifs requis



Assurer la gestion du systeme de clefs et acces



Assurer la gestion des horaires des differents systemes de controles des portes et de controles d'economies d'energies



CE QUE NOUS RECHERCHONS

Detenir un DEP en entretien general d'immeubles, DEC en mecanique du batiment ou l'equivalent



Experience en entretien d'immeubles sera consideree comme un atout



Sens de l'initiative et de la debrouillardise, capacite a mener plusieurs taches de front et a resoudre des problemes de maniere autonome



Aptitudes mecaniques eprouvees



Capacite a travailler en equipe, grande facilite avec les relations humaines et souci du service a la clientele



Etre familier avec les divers logiciels de la suite Microsoft Office



Connaissances et aptitudes demontrees en systemes de gestion d'immeubles et en systemes de controle d'eclairage



Francais et anglais*, tant a l'oral qu'a l'ecrit



Interactions orales et/ou ecrites avec des locataires ou partenaires externes bases a l'exterieur du Quebec (par exemple, fournisseurs de services, cabinets d'avocats, pairs, banquiers, firmes de courtage, firmes d'analyse de credit, agences de credits, clientele non-francophone, etc.)

As a Building Services Technician, Quebec city, you will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of building systems and services in commercial and industrial properties. You will ensure that the facilities are running efficiently, safely, and in compliance with regulations.



WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Ensure preventive/corrective maintenance for equipment, buildings and related systems (dock levellers, elevating work platforms, harnesses, gas detection systems, floor sweepers, tractors, grease traps, stormwater/sewer pumps



Respond to tenant service requests



Oversee equipment upgrades and perform general maintenance, as needed



Supervise work done by contractors and report any discrepancies; Execute variable minor works on site



Work closely with contractors' team leads to ensure compliance with building standards



Perform comprehensive building inspections



Oversee door hardware, plastering, painting, tiling and flooring work



Ensure maintenance facilities are neat and orderly at all times



Oversee minor repairs and maintenance for the centre's lighting, electrical and plumbing fixtures; Execute variable minor repairs on site



Carry out regular inspections of security systems (alarms, emergency lighting, sprinklers, extinguishers)



Provide support to management team when the Operation Manager is not available



Perform urgent tasks on an on-call basis and/or outside buildings regular business hours when timely project completion is essential;



Inspect the building exterior and ensure that all maintenance and repair work is performed properly



Be available to answer emergency calls on nights and weekends, on a rotating basis



Assist the Operation Manager with special projects



Update the Risk system and validate data with the Operation Manager



Take part in occupational health and safety meetings and rounds, and proceed with select "internal" repairs



Manage the key control system



Work closely with the Operations Assistant to ensure continuity with the access control system



Manage schedules for various door control and energy savings systems



WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Vocational diploma (DVS) in general building maintenance or college diploma (DCS) in building system engineering technology, or the equivalent



Experience in building maintenance, an asset



Resourcefulness, sense of initiative, and ability to multitask and resolve problems independently



Demonstrated mechanical aptitude



Team player with strong interpersonal and customer service skills;



Computer knowledge (Microsoft Office suite)



Knowledge of and demonstrated proficiency in building management and lighting control systems



Fluency in written and spoken French and English
