Job Summary

As a Technician for our Sample Management team in Laval (QC), you will work in the laboratory processing samples.

In this role, key responsibilities include:

• Perform reception, verification and storage of samples using the internal manual system and/or the Watson LIMS system.
• Perform Request/Return of study samples using the internal manual system and/or Watson LIMS system.
• Perform the preparation of the sample shipments to other locations, the archival preparation or disposition of the samples, as well as all follow-ups attached to these tasks.
• Retrieve biological samples from animal rooms.
• Perform Sample centrifugation, transfer Plasma/Serum into appropriate tubes and storage.

Key Elements

• Science background.
• Experience with computers.
• Experience with a pipette.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to read in English.
• Ability to work under time constraints and adapt to change.
• GLP experience.

Role Specific Information:

Location: Laval / Bus from Montmorency metro station to Laval site, Free parking.
Pay: 19.50$
Schedule: Monday to Friday, available between 08:00 and 17:15 permanent position (37.5 hours/week). Possibility of weekends.

About Safety Assessment
Charles River is committed to helping our partners expedite their preclinical drug development with exceptional safety assessment services, state-of-the-art facilities and expert regulatory guidance.
