Job Summary:
We are looking for reliable and hard-working Field Technicians to join our restoration team. This role involves hands-on work in a variety of environments, assisting with job site setup, demolition, clean-up, equipment handling, and other tasks related to property restoration.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the setup and takedown of containment, negative air machines, and decontamination zones
Perform demolition, material removal, cleaning, and equipment operation as needed
Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment for each job
Follow health and safety protocols, including proper PPE usage and decontamination procedures
Help maintain clean and organized vehicles, tools, and job sites
Support the lead technician in executing restoration projects efficiently
Document work performed with site photos and written notes when required
Continued training and certification completion to ensure you're up to date on the latest restoration protocol
Requirements:
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn on the job
Ability to lift min. 50+ lbs and perform physical labor in various conditions
Valid Class 5 driver's license (ability to pull a trailer considered an asset)
Positive attitude and ability to work well within a team
Comfortable working in dusty, wet, or confined spaces
Prior experience in restoration, demolition, or construction is an asset
Experience with mould, asbestos, or water/fire damage restoration is an asset
Must be safety-conscious and dependable
Additional Details:
Overtime, out-of-town work, and after-hours or on-call work may be required
Per diem and accommodations are provided for out-of-town projects
Training and certification opportunities available
Technicians are required to be clean-shaven to accommodate Manitoba safety requirements
Our shop is located in Oak Bluff, just outside the Winnipeg perimeter. Team members are expected to report to the shop or directly to job sites, depending on the project location and proximity to your residence.
