Intent of the process

Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM. Information regarding the CM appointment will be sent to all applicable candidates who are within the area of selection and participated in the advertised process.

Experience working with motor vehicles, such as vehicle repair or maintenance, in a personal or work environment

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

Experience in installation of automotive accessories

Experience in installation of automotive electronic accessories

Experience using a computerized work order system

Experience in welding and metal fabrication techniques

Experience using computer spreadsheet software

Security clearance: RCMP Enhanced Reliability Status

Possession of a valid Canadian Driver?s Licence equivalent to a Saskatchewan/Alberta Class 5 Driver?s Licence

A driver?s abstract with no more than 2 minor violations in the last 12 months*
  • The driver?s abstract will be requested during the assessment phase and may be requested again upon successful completion of the security clearance process for the successful candidate.

The following documents will be accepted as proof: Provincial or territorial birth certificate; Naturalization certificates (issued prior to Jan. 1, 1947); Registration of Birth Abroad certificates (issued between Jan. 1, 1947 and Feb. 14, 1977); Certificates of Retention; Citizenship certificates; Permanent resident card.

Testing/interviews will be conducted at the location of the employer's choice.
