Position Overview:


This is

not a general warehouse job

. We are seeking someone with

technical aptitude

, hands-on experience with electronics, tools, or AV technology, and an interest in growing into an

AV Technician

or

Project Coordinator role

.

Candidates who have managed an AV warehouse or worked with technical equipment will find this role an excellent pathway toward becoming an AV Technician or Project Coordinator.



You will manage warehouse operations within a

technical environment

, supporting AV installations, prepping equipment, maintaining tools and gear, and ensuring the field teams are always ready and equipped for upcoming jobs.

Key Responsibilities



Technical & AV Operations Support (40%)



Prep, stage, and pack AV equipment for installation jobs Assist with basic equipment configuration, labeling, firmware updates, and testing Handle AV electronics, cabling, hardware, and racks with proper care Coordinate repairs, RMAs, and warranty replacements Support project manager and installers with technical readiness

Warehouse Operations (40%)



Receive, verify, and ship AV equipment and components Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and AV gear Track serial numbers and asset records for accurate traceability Organize storage, shelves, and tool areas Manage e-waste and disposal of obsolete equipment

Facility & Vehicle Support (20%)



General facility upkeep (lighting, supplies, small repairs) Seasonal tasks such as snow and ice management Occasional pickups and deliveries using company vehicles Maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic logs

What You Bring



Required



2-3 years in a

technical operations

,

AV

,

IT hardware

,

live events

,

equipment-handling

, or

related technical environment

Strong mechanical/technical aptitude Comfortable with tools, troubleshooting, and handling electronics Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable Valid G-class driver license with a clean abstract (Must be 25 or older for insurance requirements) Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently and safely

Preferred



Experience with AV systems, installations, staging, or technical equipment Familiarity with inventory systems;

QuickBooks is an asset

Interest in advancing toward AV Technician or Project Coordinator roles
