We are currently seeking a self-motivated Global Payroll Business Systems Lead to fill a position that will be based in our Mississauga, Ontario office. To get Boart Longyear news direct, follow us on Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook.Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to the following): The successful candidate for the role of Global Payroll Business Systems Lead be responsible for managing global Time and Labor applications, Payroll applications and processes, HR systems and projects including application implementations, application enhancements, process improvements, upgrades, new functionality deployment and systems maintenance. This role will also support the Oracle Time and Labor (OTL) application globally and integration of OTL with global Payroll applications and Project Accounting. Other duties include maintaining and supporting the HR modules in Oracle Applications and other Global HRIS systems (PDM, Succession Planning, Recruitment, On-Boarding etc.).Key duties include:

• Lead business process evaluations, requirements gathering, and facilitate project meetings.
• Deliver on assigned tasks in all project phases from initiation, planning, analysis, design, build, test, train, deploy and stabilization.
• Develop project management deliverables such as business requirements, project charter, scope, change management plan and training plan.
• Application setup, application maintenance, system enhancements, process improvements, troubleshooting, production support and end user training.
• Design programs to meet specific business needs including proof of concept, test scenarios and documentation.
• Participate in all aspects of system testing including development of test strategy documentation, write test scripts, coordinate testing resources, compile test completion metrics, and test script execution (including stress tests and user acceptance testing).
• Coordinate and provide inputs to the technical team, and work with managed services and offshore support team to support development and sustainment of Oracle Applications, and aid in bringing the best practice solutions.
• Building the capacity of the business owners to problem solving, analyze the issue, document the issue and resolve the issue.
• Creating, maintaining and monitoring issues and change requests.
• Other duties as needed

Required Skills: Experience working with Oracle Time and Labor Systems

• Experience working on Global Payroll systems and providers like ADP, Ceridian, PaySpace etc.
• Strong knowledge of 'Hire to Retire (H2R)' processes.
• Experience in Oracle HCM modules (Core HR, CWB, OAB, Leave Management, Self-Service etc.).
• Experience in Oracle HCM product integration with third party Payroll applications like ADP, Ceridian etc. is strongly preferred.
• Experience with Core HR functions and systems like Performance Management, On-Boarding, Succession Planning, Benefits Management & Compensation Planning.
• Must have knowledge of Oracle HCM product technical architecture.
• Knowledge of cross-track modules and Oracle HCM integration with Oracle Project Accounting, EAM and Financials is a plus.
• Experience in Oracle Payroll and other third-party Payroll applications is a plus.
• Good knowledge of Oracle AIM and OUM methodologies.
• Strong SQL, PL/SQL, AME experience.
• Experience in training end-users.
• Strong analytical, design, presentation, documentation and reporting skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly.
• Demonstrated experience working in an aggressive, fast paced and highly energetic environment.
• Ability to determine root cause of complex problems and working towards for a quicker resolution.
• Strong project management skills with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple and changing priorities.
