Job Description

We are currently seeking a Technical Services Representative to join our Commercial Lines team in our Vancouver Specialty office. This role provides essential administrative and technical support to the Commercial Department predominantly focused in our Mining and Public Companies practice.


The successful candidate will assist Account Managers in servicing clients, managing documentation, and ensuring the smooth processing of insurance transactions. Training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity to grow your career in commercial insurance.

What You Will Do:



You will assist Account Managers in preparing renewal summaries and following up on claims prior to renewals. You will remind Account Teams of past due account receivables. You will attach documentation and maintain accurate records in EPIC. You will work closely with the account team to ensure timely handling of requests. You will support online service through CSR24. You will issue finance contracts and access online portals to obtain quotes. You will review and check policies and endorsements for accuracy. You will manage policy follow-ups, including outstanding policies, subjectivities, and endorsements. You will respond to client inquiries and account questions in the absence of the Account Manager or Account Executive. You will issue urgent certificate requests and process urgent insurance documentation. You will perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Who You Are:



You must have a positive team focused attitude. You must have strong customer service skills and a positive attitude. Commercial insurance experience is preferred. Level 1 insurance broker license required, Level 2 License preferred (working towards CAIB, CIP, FCIP, or CRM is beneficial).

Compensation



The expected salary range for this position is $50,000 to $65,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope, and level. Company Benefits program
