Technical Sales Coordinator
Location: Richmond Hill | Yarl Metal Fabrications
Yarl Metal Fabrications is growing, and we're looking for a hands-on Sales Coordinator to take our legacy forward.
Technical Sales Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Assistant/Sales Manager and Chief Operating Officer in managing large-scale projects, maintaining client relationships, and driving sales growth.
What You'll Do:
Respond to customer inquiries regarding order updates and provide support for any other service requests related to their orders.
Arrange product samples for customers upon request, ensuring timely delivery and proper documentation.
Coordinate and organize meetings with customers, ensuring all necessary reports and supporting documents are readily available.
Facilitate meetings between external draftsmen and the Production Control Team for training purposes, ensuring all arrangements are effectively managed.
Assist in managing sales leads and addressing warranty-related concerns as required.
Responsible for accurately estimating the price of assigned quote requests and ensuring timely submission.
Ensure all outsourced quotations are properly documented and stored in the designated server for future reference.
Scan and organize all daily quotation documents in the YFS folder for record-keeping and accessibility.
Provide a comprehensive report to the Sales Manager at 4:30 PM daily, highlighting pending tasks and progress updates to ensure effective workflow management.
Proactively follow up on pending issues with the Production team and provide timely updates to the Technical Sales Manager.
Track the progress of assigned YPF projects, ensuring that order status and relevant project details are accurately recorded in the system, YPF folder, and other resources.
Provide regular updates to customers regarding the status of their orders by utilizing information from the master project tracking system.
Prepare and submit weekly status reports for assigned projects on designated days, ensuring all project milestones are accurately reflected.
Take responsibility for preparing and documenting the summary of the DPM (Daily Production Meeting) in the absence of the Sales Manager.
What We're Looking For:
Secondary education/ diploma
Degree in Engineering preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant job
Experience in construction industry is preferred
Working knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to read technical drawings; ERP/Microsoft Office experience.
