Job Description
Robert Half is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Project Manager for their client located in North York, Ontario. The ideal candidate will have experience leading a VOIP telecommunication implementation as well as a datacenter migration project. This role is a long term hybrid role. - Establish project scope / milestones / schedules in collaboration with real estate move project . Perform / review inventory of current infrastructure (Network, Compute, Telecom and End user compute) and develop migration plans to Cloud/On-prem solutions . Create work breakdown structure (WBS) / dependencies for the move. Align various project timelines with overall timelines . Identify scope, timelines for the 3rd party vendors . Identify hardware / software / service requirements and collaboratively with MODC internal departments in procurement . Review solutions and provide feedback . Collaborate with IT staff in executing project activities . Coordinate with 3rd party vendors, MODC internal teams in completing the project activities . Lead migration activities with the technical teams ensuring seamless execution . Communicate with MODC stakeholders / staff on the project . Create / present project status report along with risks, issues to the IT leadership . Escalate issues timely to the IT leadership
Comes from strong IT Infrastructure background with broader experience in Networks, Compute and telecom background Experience of completing at least 2 Data center migration projects to on-prem/cloud Experience of implementing at least 1 VOIP/UCaaS solution Excellent understanding of project management methodologies PMP certified (preferred) Excellent organization skills Excellent communication and coordination's skills Excellent skills in stakeholder management and project
