This is a Technical Project Manager position responsible for actively working with our global delivery teams in Canada, and India. We are looking to hire someone who has experience leading cutting-edge digital (web, mobile, IoT). Based in Toronto with offices in the U.S., and India we work with clients around the planet. Responsibilities

• Own the process, adhere to TechBlocks PMO methodologies, and be knowledgeable on the effective process steps needed to execute a project successfully and deliver business value early.
  
• Manage website, web applications and mobile application projects.
  
• Handled team in multiple geographies, and offshore and ensure timely delivery and quality management of projects.
  
• Actively direct and manage the project life cycle from project kickoff through development, testing, and launch.
  
• Implement Agile (Scrum, Kanban) processes in projects.
  
• Comfortable writing user stories or assisting BAs as needed
  
• Comfortable with conducting client requirements gathering sessions, and working with BA and UX teams to document
  
• Understand key business requirements and work with the technical team to deliver those requirements.
  
• Manage, report on, and forecast project budgets and managed services engagement budgets, advising internal and external leadership on cost/benefit analyses.
  
• Make resource allocation decisions to meet our client\xe2\x80\x99s needs, our teams\xe2\x80\x99 billable utilization targets, and department managers\xe2\x80\x99 resource allocation goals.

Requirements

• Project management experience 5+ years minimum
  
• Have grown into a technical project manager role with a strong background in web and mobile application development as BA and/or BSA.
  
• Preferred Project Management Professional (PMP or PMP-ACP) and/or Agile Scrum certification.
  
• At least 3+ years of project management experience is required where you have actively worked on digital product roadmaps with product managers.
  
• Well-versed and experienced in Agile project management methodologies. SCRUM is required. Kanban and XP are preferred.
  
• Strong experience in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle and Waterfall model
  
• Strong understanding of the development of dynamic websites and User Experience (UX) design principles
