About the role:


The Technical Production Director leads and coordinates the lighting operators, programmers, and technical staff. This role involves overseeing project planning, technical execution, team management, and ensuring the successful delivery of PixMob experiences. The director will work closely with other departments to ensure seamless integration and execution of projects.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the lighting operators, programmers, and technical team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations. Plan and coordinate technical aspects of projects, including equipment setup, programming, and troubleshooting. Develop and implement technical plans and procedures for projects. Review and evaluate CVs of lighting operators. Coordinate and review rigging plans. Provide instructions and updates on programming. Communicate and coordinate with other departments, including operations, logistics, and sales. Communicate with Operations our technical needs for projects Manage project timelines and budgets related to the technical team. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions during events and projects. Foster a collaborative and efficient team environment.

Qualifications:

5 to 8 years of experience in managing remote technical teams and major projects. Strong positive leadership style Strong technical knowledge of lighting systems, programming, and related technologies. Excellent organizational and project management skills. Managing experience in the entertainment or events industry is required Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Ability to work in a fast pace environment where agility is required Bilingualism ( French & English). The person must be able to communicate in English since we have employees outside Quebec. Availability to travel ( Position based in Montreal but may require travel.)
