Job Summary

We are currently seeking an well organized, highly motivated and hard working person for the full-time position of Parts Counter Sales Person at our new location in Exeter, ON.

Job Purpose

This exciting new position will be responsible for selling, receiving and delivery of parts and accessories. In addition, this person will perform in-store customer service, overall organization, promotion and stocking duties.

Duties and Responsibilities

Promotes and sells products and or services to meet customers needs. Accurately record all sales / transactions that occur as they occur. Supporting the equipment & service departments with orders. Assist with the maintenance of the parts warehouse and merchandise displays and keep areas clean & organized. Assist with maintaining department tools and equipment. Assisting parts manager on any parts order, placing orders, recommending stock parts, assisting customers with placement of orders Verify receipt of shipments and enter into POS system and follow up with suppliers for any shortages. Work with any departments as directed by the Parts Manager.

Qualifications

Grade 12 minimum Basic data entry / keyboard skills Basic parts & machinery knowledge Possess excellent organizational skills Possess excellent problem solving skills Safety contentious Must be able to work within a team environment Must be approachable and have good communication skills with customers and fellow employees Prior parts experience would be an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week
