Self-driven to understand the existing data model and the data processing in the existing DWH landscape
Design, develop, and test new mappings and enhance existing ones based on business needs using Informatica
Understand incidents reported by the users and troubleshoot the data issues to the root cause level
Resolve and close incidents within the service level agreements and communicate the users
Work pro-actively to prevent issues that can be expected in the near future in the Informatica mappings
Documentation for knowledge management that helps prevent / fix fast the issues reported by the users
Maintain the performance of the existing ETL jobs that meets the customer expectation
Willingness to get cross trained in IBM Cognos
(1.) To ensure process compliance in the assigned module, and participate in technical discussionsorreview as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations). (2.) To prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations. (3.) To develop and guide the team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity (4.) To be responsible for providing technical guidance or solutions ;define, advocate, and implement best practices and coding standards for the team.
