Overall Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 - 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in industrial process water treatment, a high degree of computer literacy, good time management and priority setting skills; flexibility and excellent interpersonal skills.

\xc2\xb7 Contribute to project teams by working with mid-level and senior engineers to apply and develop knowledge and skills in areas that focus on industrial water/wastewater treatment.

\xc2\xb7 Perform treatability studies, wastewater sampling and analysis, wastewater treatment alternatives evaluation, regulatory permitting, and pollution prevention evaluations.

\xc2\xb7 Endeavor to understand the customer\'s need and how the project relates to other elements of the client\'s organization and to other projects.

\xc2\xb7 Have excellent organization skills and are able to work on multiple projects simultaneously, and under deadline pressure.

\xc2\xb7 Are detail-oriented, able to follow instructions and to communicate with staff to understand assignments or seek clarification as necessary.

\xc2\xb7 Have a strong desire to become a consultant (team player, eagerness to learn and grow, self-starter that takes initiative, is adaptable, and provides a high quality of work).

\xc2\xb7 Participate in achieving a Target Zero safety plan

Qualifications

Experience and Qualifications:

\xc2\xb7 A bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in environmental, civil, or chemical engineering or other related science or engineering discipline

\xc2\xb7 3- 5 years relevant work experience,

\xc2\xb7 Abilities in multidisciplinary project teamwork and coordination,

\xc2\xb7 High level of self-motivation and ability to motivate others,

\xc2\xb7 Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

\xc2\xb7 PhD or Master\xe2\x80\x99s in environmental, civil, or chemical engineering or related discipline is desirable, but, not required

\xc2\xb7 Experience with process modeling software is an asset,

\xc2\xb7 Experience with Field Chemistry, Benchscale, and Pilot Testing is an asset,

\xc2\xb7 Location flexible
