Our client, a major player in the insurance industry, is looking to hire a Technical Assistant for their downtown Montreal office.

Advantages
-37.5 hours / week ;
- 3 weeks of vacation time;

- Competitive salary scale according to experience (between $45k/year and $65k/year);

Responsibilities
- Test reinsurance treaties entered into the administration system;
- Enter new business transactions into the administration system from reinsurance transaction files provided by clients;
- Analyze and complete the entry of new business transactions rejected by the automated processing;
- Prepare correspondence for clients regarding new business transactions requiring adjustments;
-Prepare reinsurance invoices for clients;
- Collaborate with internal/external auditors and the various teams in the Administration Department on audit mandates;
- Any other related work;

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Law, Actuarial Science, Finance or any related field;
- Experience in insurance is a strong asset;
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Team player;
- Autonomy, flexibility and adaptability;
- Accuracy and attention to detail;
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines;
- Sense of initiative and resourcefulness;
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- Mastery of the SigXP brokerage platform (would be an asset)
- Bilingualism (French and English);
- Great interest in numbers;
