The

Team Supervisor

is the key leader in overseeing and managing the technical operations within the organization for your assigned airport. Your primary responsibility will be to lead a team of technicians, ensuring the delivery of high-quality technical support and services. In addition to standard technical oversight, you will take charge of various administrative and managerial tasks critical to the team's success.

Primary Duties

:

- Weekly Task Assignments:

Coordinate and manage the weekly scheduling and assignments of Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) work orders. Ensure efficient allocation of resources and adherence to project timelines.

- Leave Approval:

Review and pre-approve leave requests, ensuring proper coverage and minimal disruption to operational workflows. Maintain accurate records of approved leaves.

- Schedule Management and Approval:

Manage and implement changes to schedules, including training assignments and shift change requests. Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to optimize workforce deployment. DayForce initial approval of team time sheets and overtime.

- Adhoc CM Assignments:

Serve as the primary point of contact for dispatching ad-hoc Corrective Maintenance (CM) assignments. Ensure swift and effective resolution of unexpected technical issues.

- Release Requests:

Initiate and coordinate release requests to CATSA, the Airport Authority, and airport security contractor (ex. GARDA, Allied). Ensure compliance with all regulatory and procedural requirements.

- Update Assignments:

Ensure Shift Leads promptly mark off completed tasks in the system. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of task status for effective tracking and reporting.

- Weekly Parts Order/Replenishment:

Submit or assign consumable part order requests to KPLC on a weekly basis, with a deadline set for Thursday. Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure seamless workflow.

- Workorder QC :

Initiate and coordinate release requests to CATSA, the Airport Authority, and airport security contractor (ex. GARDA, Paladin). Ensure compliance with all regulatory and procedural requirements.

- Communication:

Directly communicate with Airport Stakeholders, Customers, and Customer Representatives.

- Coaching and Mentoring:

Provide guidance through mentoring or coaching to all team members

- Performance Review and Evaluation:

Provide constructive feedback on team member performance, addressing any issues promptly. Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the team through regular evaluations.

- Team Member Discipline and Performance Management:

The Team Supervisor will be responsible for reporting Team Performance issues to the Regional Manager. If required under the guidance of Management and HR can give Verbal Warnings to Tech. (See Discipline Guidelines)

- Repair and Service:

Corrective and Preventative maintenance of CATSA Security Equipment and infrastructure systems and equipment. Installation and Site Acceptance of new or redeployed equipment.

- Parts Management:

Shipping and receiving of parts and RMA's Creating Purchase Orders and completing Shipping Orders Helping to support team inventory management

- Administration and Documentation:

Concise and proper logging of Service Orders using ERP Completing required reports and check sheets Administration duties including completing shipping and receiving of parts and RMA equipment.

- Physical Requirement:



Lifting and movement of up to 23kg Possess strong hands-on abilities, manual dexterity, physical strength, and stamina Capability to sit, stand for prolonged periods, walk, climb, reach, bend and maneuver around equipment and work areas is required Working at Heights and on ladders as required

Valid Provincial Driver's License Valid Passport and/or US VISA is required to travel for training Pass and maintain Transport Canada Clearance for Aviation Access
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
