Duties

Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards. Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, to process customer orders accurately. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling practices. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas. Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.

Qualifications

Previous experience in Barburrito Restaurant is must. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Familiarity with kitchen equipment and sanitation practices is beneficial. Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation, serving, and upselling techniques.
