Warehouse Team Member/Transfer Driver

position may be right for you. In this role you will be a team player who ensure the operations are safe and efficient, preparing our products for delivery and is a team player who loves driving, organizing, transferring our artisanal products with pride and care between our facilities and keeping moving all day, if this is you, we'd love to consider you for our Team.

Bonus points for previous commercial driving experience! Our Transfer Drivers drive a combination of 1 ton and 5-ton trucks.

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, our Warehouse/Inventory Team Member & Transfer Drivers are responsible for:



Loading, unloading and organizing stacks of finished bakery products from our bakery to our warehouse several times per day (approx. a 2 km drive) using our 5 ton and 1-ton trucks Maintaining excellent warehouse organization by storing all items in designated spots Working with a team and Delivery Drivers to ensure all time goals are met comfortably Tracking and recording products as per company policies Assembling products in a neat and organized fashion to ensure that products will reach the customer undamaged Building & Assembling orders for delivery across the Lower Mainland as per provided company order sheets Documenting any damaged, unlabeled, unpresentable or missing products Ensuring all product is properly packaged, labelled and presentable for customers Complete all administrative duties and paperwork as assigned, i.e. way bills, shipping receiving logs Operating pallet jacks and forklifts as per company practices and safety procedures Supporting our operations by maintaining excellent warehouse organization and working with the Warehouse Team and Packaging Teams to ensure all time goals are met Completing all administrative tasks, including, but not limited to tracking and recording quantities in a transfer log Picking-up and delivering items offsite from time to time Delivering internal company supplies between facilities (e.g. equipment, tools, supplies etc.) Other duties as assigned.

Shifts & Availability:



8-hour shifts - (5:00pm to 1:30am) Must be available to work Tuesday-Fri 9am to 5:30pm; Sat 8:00am to 4:30pm This is a full-time permanent position

The Ingredients You Bring to the Table:



Previous driving experience - bonus points for commercial driving experience! The ability to lift up to 50lbs A class 5 driver's license A clean driver's abstract from the past 5 years, with no major infractions (_

Forklift Certification an asset Pallet Jack experience an asset Strong verbal communication skills Strong time management skills The ability to work independently, as well as in a team cooperatively The ability to work on your feet for extended periods The ability to work in a clean, organized manner A willingness to learn and grow A commitment to upholding company policies, compliance and quality standards A commitment to punctuality and reliability, showing up to shifts on time and ready to work Previous experience in a warehouse environment is considered an asset.
