Position Overview:



We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Team Lead to oversee daily operations in our Returns Department. The ideal candidate will have prior experience managing product returns, particularly within the automotive parts industry, and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:



Supervise and coordinate day-to-day operations of the returns team. Process customer returns efficiently while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Inspect returned auto parts (e.g., brake pads, rotors, mufflers, bearings, hubs, etc.) to determine eligibility for restock or disposal. Manage the return-to-supplier process ensure all eligible parts are packed, labelled, and shipped back to the correct supplier on time. Maintain proper records and documentation for returns to various suppliers, ensuring traceability and accountability. Train and guide team members on return handling procedures, safety protocols, and productivity standards. Monitor team performance metrics, identify process bottlenecks, and implement improvements. Collaborate with warehouse, inventory, and customer service teams to resolve discrepancies. Ensure all returns are processed through IT systems accurately and on time. Utilize scanner guns and warehouse management systems for tracking and documentation. Apply Lean and Six Sigma practices to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize processing errors. Foster a positive and accountable team culture through effective communication and leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:



1+ years of experience in a returns or reverse logistics department (automotive industry preferred). Strong understanding of auto parts and components (e.g., brake systems, Suspensions, hubs, filters, etc.). Proven leadership or supervisory experience in warehouse or logistics operations. Proficiency with scanner guns, inventory systems, and IT-based return processes. Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles or process improvement methodologies. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to train and motivate a team while maintaining high operational standards.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
