Located on the very edge of Sydney Harbour with front-row seats to the world-famous Opera House, our luxurious harborside residence is unmistakably Australian.We are looking for an energetic and passionate Team Leader - The Bar.The main duties and responsibilities for this role will include the following:

  • To assist the Assistant Manager - The Bar by ensuring that all policies and procedures are successfully executed
  • To provide exceptional guest service at all times and handles all guest and colleague inquiries and complaints in a courteous and efficient manner
  • To ensure that the food and beverage standards are implemented
  • Assist the bar team in the creation of new cocktails in line with current trends
  • To be a hands-on Team Leader, present at all times in the Living Room and Bar areas, especially during busy periods
  • To nurture and develop each team member, maximising their effectiveness by developing their skills and abilities through appropriate training and coaching
Qualifications:
  • Proven food and beverage service experience and qualification in food and beverage service training, preferably diploma or certificate in Hospitality or Tourism management
  • Experience in a supervisory food and beverage role for at least 6 months in a deluxe hotel or similar environment
  • Proficient at effectively training staff and fostering positive team morale
  • Good knowledge of wines, cocktails and other beverages
  • Previous experience and passion for making cocktails and mixology
  • Computer skills particularly in the use of MS Office
  • Current NSW RSA certificate
  • Unlimited working rights in Australia
