Job Opportunity: Team Leader - Community Disability Support

.Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement
Individual Support Plans (ISPs)
Support individuals in achievingpersonal goals
and buildinglife skills
such as cooking, cleaning, and budgeting Encouragecultural and personal expression
Providepersonal care assistance
(bathing, grooming, dressing, medications) Assist withhome maintenance
: cleaning, laundry, shopping, yard/snow careAdvocate
during medical and therapy appointments Promotehealth and wellness
Facilitatecommunity participation
andsocial engagement
Arrange or providetransportation
Ensuresafety
and providecrisis support
as needed Supportpositive behavior management
Maintainaccurate documentation
and share updates Participate inteam meetings, training
, andongoing development
Job Requirements
Clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check
(completed within last 6 months) Ability to obtainBasic First Aid with CPR Level A
(within 3 months of hire)Valid work permit
if not a Canadian citizen Willingness to attend2 days of Pre-Employment Training
Providetwo professional references
Strong ability to workindependently
andcollaboratively
Preferred Qualifications (Strong Assets)
Experience with developmental disabilities
Minimum one year of experience working as a Lead or Supervisor
inhealthcare
related settingExperience in personal care support
Proven ability tomanage challenging behaviors calmly
Valid driver's license
, reliable vehicle, and$2 million liability insurance
Excellent communication
andinterpersonal skills

Pay: $17.38 per hour
