Location:Toronto, ON. Option to work from home/remote with onsite attendance for meeting and events.

About the Role:

This exciting new role is a unique blend of strategy setting, people and practice development and product/feature shipping.

Strategy and Product Development:

In partnership with subject matter experts from sales, research, and technology you will help reimagine everything from how advertising clients buy, optimize and track campaigns across broadcast and digital platforms to how data, process automation, and predictive analytics can improve how Corus sales team members' work.

People and Practice Development:

Corus has a growing product development practice, and we're looking for someone who can actively support the development of excellent product leaders. In this role, you will help cultivate an environment of knowledge and best practice sharing, actively support training and growth plans for team members, and continue to evolve the product management practice at Corus.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and champion the strategy, objectives, and roadmap for our sales technology (Ad Tech) products
  • Engage our customers and stakeholders to identify new capabilities, define product features, and work with cross-functional teams to get those features in the hands of our customers
  • Develop multi-year goals and help teams link feature delivery with long-term positive objectives and results
  • Implement products and features that balance between customer needs, technical constraints, and business priorities
  • Prioritize features and resources across a combination of internal and customer facing products
  • Build trust and foster communication amongst teams and customers
  • Mentor and manage product managers providing feedback and guidance to support their growth
  • Unblock obstacles, collaborate with partners and empower teams to do their best work
  • Build upon Corus' product manager toolkit and best practices
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate business terms that deliver lasting value to Corus
  • Seek out innovation opportunities and partnerships
  • Conduct customer and industry research to assess new opportunities
  • Build business cases for new product and feature development
About You

What We Need From You:
  • 5+ years in the technology or media industry with experience owning products from inception to launch
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, including active listening and the ability to ensure that both technical and non-technical audiences clearly understand complex ideas
  • A honed ability to identify customer and business problems and translate them into a product vision with clear/concise requirements and a consideration for the end-to-end experience
  • Experience leading and collaborating with geographically distributed teams
  • Ability to drive a budget process to including assessment of: impact, risk analysis, and prioritization
  • You demonstrate integrity and approach business, decision-making, and responsibilities honestly and openly.
