Triple A Cheese values high ethical standards and personal integrity of its employees. The Lead Hand ensures that finished products meet regulatory requirements, as well as internal and external specifications. Ensures that the production line runs smoothly. Monitoring procedures and associated documentation is completed accurately, truthfully and timely.
Hours of work: 6:00am - 2:30pm
Occasional Saturdays required
Responsibilities:
Conduct weight checks of product as required to ensure products meet legal and customer specifications.
Communicate with Production Supervisor regarding deviations found during production.
Set up production equipment.
Perform cleaning and sanitizing procedures on process equipment following established procedures and complete associate monitoring records.
Perform non-daily cleaning tasks as outlined in established procedures and complete associated monitoring records.
Conduct monitoring procedures according to Metal Detection Procedures and document findings on associated monitoring record.
Perform preventive control program monitoring procedures as assigned and complete associated records.
Set up the production for the next day (when required).
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Work with staff on the line to assist if needed
Ensures all company guidelines, GMP's, policies and other duties are followed and implemented as assigned.
Able to lift upto 20kg
Ensures adherence to Health & Safety guidelines and communicates concerns to management immediately.
Any other duties requested by Supervisor or Management.
Requirements:
General Food Hygiene Training
1-2 years experience as Lead Hand
Experience working in food processing/manufacturing
Asset: Cheese manufacturing experience, minimum 2 years

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
