This position is at the L10 level with an hourly pay range of $54.39 - $72.65

This position works in a high-pressure environment with critical and competing demands and provides coordination of patient care teams. Work priorities can change constantly in response to patient care needs, staffing concerns and YHC's changing priorities. This position has a number of challenging emotional demands such as dealing with hostile clients. In addition, there are also physical demands which include participating in a Code White if necessary. In order to deliver care, the incumbent spends the majority of their time on their feet monitoring and coordinating patient care activities across patient units.

The successful candidate is required to have a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work and be registered, or eligible for registration, in good standing with a recognized Social Work College. Consideration may be given to applicants possessing higher education in a related field such as Nursing, Occupational Therapy, or Counselling. Candidates must have a minimum of three (3) years of clinical leadership experience in a hospital setting, including at least two (2) years of experience working with Mental Health or Addictions clients. Preference will be given to candidates holding a Master's Degree in Social Work. An equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience may be considered.
