The Analytics & Tactical Solutions team within Domestic Execution supports the daily execution teams managing all inbound and outbound freight within Canada. This team\xe2\x80\x99s mandate is to provide insight into the performance of our operations (cost & service) to enable internal and external stakeholders to make sound business decisions that drive strong customer service to our CTR Associate Dealers within budget.

Scope of work includes: reporting & analysis, data visualization, end-user tool development, process mapping & process improvement.

The Team Lead, Domestic Transportation Execution Analytics will be leading a team of 3 co-ops and 1-2 agency BAs to support the effective management processes and technologies necessary to support deliveries in accordance with on time and cost goals.

What you\'ll do

Analysis/Operational

Analyse various topics as assigned, from the simple to the complex, presenting findings, including key information and issues, as well as potential solutions.

Ensure the publishing of regular daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting to various stakeholders including Domestic Transportation teams & leadership, senior management, CTR Associate Dealers, and carrier partners.

Tactical leadership support during non-standard events and work stoppages (i.e. rail work stoppage)

Process Improvement

Identify and action opportunities to drive down supply chain costs and/or improve service by applying continuous improvement methodologies to Transportation and related processes.

Projects

Contributes to identification, analysis, and recommendations of solutions (tools and processes)

Works and leads within a team environment to construct, test and implement solutions

Prepares presentations/findings on projects and activities

Present findings, issues and proposed solutions to various stakeholders

What you bring

Post-Secondary degree in Logistics/Transportation/Engineering/Business or equivalent professional experience

Minimum 2 years of leadership experience

Self-initiating, highly motivated individual who drives for results within a collaborative team environment

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the proven ability to positively interact and communicate to all levels of management and staff

Passionate, influential leader that can build a credible roadmap, delivers results and can work cross functionally to meet CTC goals

Financial acumen

Familiar with data Analytics with Relational Databases (i.e. SQL, Access)

Data Reporting & Visualization (i.e. Power BI, Tableau, Excel)

Exceptional analytical, problem solving, planning and organizational skills combined with creative thinking

Skilled at managing multiple tasks, setting and tracking own milestones, and meeting deadlines

Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communications skills

Familiarity with project management, process analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies

Experience with Big Data is an asset

Supply Chain/Transportation Industry Knowledge is an asset

Experience with Transportation management systems is an asset
