The Opportunity: We are currently looking for an individual to fill a Team Lead Commercial Lines Advisor role. This is a varied role, which would see the successful candidate dealing with for training new hires, setting goals and objectives for the team, and monitoring performance, new business, remarketing, renewals, payments and cancellations, while also answering any client queries in office or over the phone. Education and Skills required: \xc2\xb7 University / College degree or equivalent work experience \xc2\xb7 Level 2 BC General Insurance license required \xc2\xb7 Minimum of 3+ years or more Commercial Lines Insurance experience \xc2\xb7 Strong product knowledge, and the ability to make sound Personal Lines Insurance decisions \xc2\xb7 Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, superb time management and organizational skills and strong negotiation and sales skills. \xc2\xb7 Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team. \xc2\xb7 Accountability, customer-centric thinking, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence. \xc2\xb7 Strong technical knowledge and experience working with and interpreting insurance policies \xc2\xb7 Detail oriented and have a high level of accuracy \xc2\xb7 Good verbal and written communication skills \xc2\xb7 Able to prioritize and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities \xc2\xb7 Computer skills including working knowledge with Word & Excel Asset to Have: \xc2\xb7 Those pursuing or holding the CAIB, CIP, FCIP, or CRM certifications.
