We are seeking a dynamic

Team Lead

to join our operations team. This role requires a proactive leader who excels in team coordination, process optimization, and fostering a culture of excellence. You will play a crucial role in ensuring productivity and maintaining high-quality standards in all manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities



Lead a team of production associates, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve production goals and continuous improvement. Coordinate day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and production standards. Foster a collaborative team environment, encouraging open communication and fostering employee engagement. Monitor workflow and performance metrics, analyze data, and take necessary actions to optimize processes. Implement Lean manufacturing practices and promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team. Assist in training and onboarding new team members, ensuring they understand company policies, procedures, and quality standards. Participate in daily production meetings and contribute to planning and problem-solving discussions. Identify and mitigate production issues, including equipment downtime, quality concerns, and staffing challenges. Collaborate with other departments, such as Quality Assurance and Supply Chain, to ensure seamless operations and support company objectives.

Requirements



What You Bring



Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a track record of leadership or supervisory roles. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control standards, and Lean principles. Demonstrated ability to lead a diverse team and drive performance improvements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on team collaboration. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions quickly. Continuous improvement enthusiast who is open to innovation and adapting to change. High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in manufacturing or a related field is an asset.

Skills & Competencies



Leadership and motivational skills that inspire team commitment and accountability. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Familiarity with production scheduling and inventory management systems is preferred. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills.
