We recognize that effective social innovation is impossible without strong teams and infrastructure.As the Team & Culture Coordinator, you will be responsible for building our organizational Team & Culture to maximize organizational intelligence and culture and strengthen team capacity and capability. Your focus will include developing and implementing processes to improve team supports. You will report to the Sr. Manager of Team & Operations and work alongside managers and coordinators in various functional areas.We are looking for an organized, savvy, improvement-oriented individual with strong interpersonal communication, organization and planning skills.   • Hiring Salary Range: $50,474- $55,017

Major Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to)
  • Support the administration of all recruitment, hiring, and onboarding efforts
  • Assist in the building and execution of organizational team training programs, including the standardization of training curriculum, liaising with external facilitators, and facilitation of training workshops.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of recruitment, selection, and hiring strategies
  • Inform the development of organizational team feedback structures
  • Support the standardization of organizational HR systems and processes
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of health & safety programs
  • Inform the development of organizational volunteer initiatives and engagement
  • Co-lead the social committee and participate in the development and execution of team recognition and engagement initiatives
  • Assist in the deployment of internal communication structures and processes
  • Co-lead organizational team development and learning and participate in the planning of team summits, retreats, and other team events
  • Support the development and update of organization HR policies and procedures
  • Act as an exemplary model and representation of our values and culture in all settings
  • Support teams in executing diverse projects with a focus on improving efficiency
  • Provide logistical support to project managers as needed
  • Assess risks associated with projects and identify potential mitigation techniques
  • Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, vendors, subcontractors, and partners
  • Support the reception and processing of donated equipment and materials
  • Research and implement software and equipment specific to the needs of different projects
  • Plan and execute office events, awards ceremonies, and other company-related functions. Assess and report on overall success of projects/events
  • Support the procurement of organizational and program-related merchandise and materials
  • Ensuring office resources and equipment are appropriately stocked, maintained and available for team members as required
  • Support the maintenance of office amenities in line with health and safety protocols and standards

Experience & Expertise Education and Training
  • Undergraduate Diploma/Degree or equivalent/relevant experience in Human Resources, business administration, or project management
  • PMP certification is an asset
Experience
  • At least 2 years of successful experience in Human Resources and/or project coordination
  • Expertise in digital tools and software to manage projects including excel and Google Sheets
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders including staff, youth, partners, and vendors
  • A proven track record coordinating and implementing complex projects
  • A proven track record identifying and implementing new processes to increase efficiency for diverse projects
  • Excellent project management skills, including planning and critical evaluation of an initiative and designing metrics to monitor performance
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to convey an authentic vision.
Additional Asset(s)
  • Lived experience in low-income and racialized communities
  • Driver's License and regular access to a vehicle considered an asset
