Teaching Assistant (180 hours), SWRK 527 - Advanced Social Work Practice in Quebec, Sec 001, CRN 4868. Mondays, 11:35 - 14:25, Birks 203, Winter 2026 Term.
Knowledge of the following required:Social work practice in the province of Quebec. The Reserved Acts (designated by the OTSTCFQ). The critical analysis of key OTSTCFQ Reserved Acts within the social work profession in Quebec; Advanced assessment skills using approaches rooted anti-oppressive, critical, and reflexive social work theories, with attention to individual, community, systemic, interpersonal, institutional, legal and structural factors and contexts; Advanced intervention skills at the various levels of practice (micro, mezzo and macro); Advanced critical and reflexive social work skills to navigate assessment and intervention.
