Assignment:
Full-time 1.0 FTE temporary replacement teaching position Grades 7-9 English and French Immersion learning environments Instructing in Junior High Language Arts and Social Studies Duties to commence March 2, 2026 and will continue until June 30, 2026
Qualifications:
Training and experience in French Immersion Experience teaching Language Arts and Social Studies at the Junior High level Ability to utilize varied instructional strategies to meet a wide range of individual needs Strong classroom management Experience teaching in an alternative and flexible learning environment Experience leading Educational Assistants in a classroom setting Experience with level B assessment would be considered an asset Strong planning, interpersonal and organizational skills Willingness to work in a team-oriented learning environment Assessment literate Strong planning and organizational skills Commitment to ongoing professional growth Strong technology and 21st Century Learning Skills
