Bentley School is a Pre-K to grade 12 school serving 460 students. We are looking for a strong candidate that is committed to fostering academic excellence, character development, and physical well-being among students. Assignment:

Full-time 1.0 FTE temporary replacement teaching position Instructing as a grade 2 generalist. Additional duties will include student supervision, and participation in fostering a positive school culture Duties to commence August 27, 2025 and will continue until September 12, 2025, with the possibility of extension

Qualifications:

Experience teaching at the Elementary school level would be considered an asset Strong knowledge of effective instructional strategies for your learners Special consideration will be given to applicants with experience and expertise in literacy instruction Proficient in PowerSchool for reporting and assessments Commitment to supporting student growth, both academically and socially Passion for education and a commitment to student success Able to provide direction and create individual student programs in collaboration with an EA Able to teach in a positive and collaborative learning environment, within a welcoming school community Strong technology and 21st-century learning skills with an early education perspective Effective classroom management that facilitates safe, caring, and inclusive spaces for all students Strong planning and organizational skills Willingness to work in a team-oriented learning environment and be a positive team member Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to use varied instructional strategies to meet a wide range of individual needs and abilities Commitment to ongoing professional growth Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families
