Job Description

Assignment:

Part-time 0.50 FTE Interim teaching position Possibility of an FTE increase for the second semester Courseload to include Grades 10-12 Physical Education and Social Studies Duties will commence on September 15, 2025 and will continue for the remainder of the 2025/2026 school year

Qualifications:

Experience teaching relevant courses as listed above would be considered an asset Passion for education and commitment to student success. Strong technology and 21st-century learning skills Assessment literate Ability to utilize varied instructional strategies to meet a wide range of individual needs Strong planning and organizational skills Strong classroom management skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Willingness to work in a team-oriented learning environment and be a positive team member Commitment to ongoing professional growth An understanding of High School Redesign Principles, the Collaborative Response Model, and Differentiation would be considered an asset Ability to teach in a flexible learning environment.
