We are seeking a reliable and professional Taxi Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing safe, efficient, and courteous transportation services to passengers. As a Taxi Driver, you will navigate the city, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs while maintaining a clean and well-maintained vehicle. This role requires excellent customer service skills and a strong knowledge of local routes.

Responsibilities

Safely transport passengers to their desired destinations in a timely manner. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior. Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage or personal items. Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure passenger safety. Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding pick-up locations, traffic conditions, and any delays. Provide excellent customer service by being friendly, professional, and accommodating to passenger needs. Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage and fare calculations. Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met.

Skills

Proven experience in driving roles such as Limousine, Commercial driving, Delivery driver experience, Bus driving, or Paratransit is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of local streets, neighborhoods, and traffic patterns. Excellent navigation skills using GPS or maps. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with passengers and dispatchers. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations professionally. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
