Night Shift Taxi Driver (5 PM - 5 AM)

We are seeking reliable and professional

Night Shift Taxi Drivers

to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to work independently during overnight hours. You will be responsible for safely and promptly transporting passengers while ensuring a comfortable and positive experience.

Shift Details

Hours:

5:00 PM - 5:00 AM

Days:

Must be available

7 days a week

(flexibility in scheduling possible)

Pay Structure:

50/50 split

Fuel Policy:

Driver must

refill the gas tank

at the end of each shift

Shift Fee:

Waived for night drivers due to lower trip volume

Responsibilities

Safely operate a City Wide Taxi vehicle in accordance with all traffic laws and company regulations. Provide excellent customer service, ensuring passengers feel comfortable and respected. Manage cash and card transactions accurately, providing change and maintaining fare records. Communicate effectively with dispatch throughout your shift regarding passenger requests and trip updates. Keep the taxi clean and in good condition at all times. Record trip logs, including mileage, passenger count, and any incidents.

Experience & Qualifications

Previous experience as a taxi or commercial driver preferred but not required. Must have a

valid driver's license

with a

clean driving record

. Strong

English communication skills

(spoken and written). Ability to work independently and manage overnight schedules responsibly. Must be willing to

purchase a taxi license

. Clean background with

no criminal record

. Excellent time management and customer service skills.

Compensation

Drivers earn a

50/50 split

of fares collected during their shift. Unlike day drivers,

night drivers do not pay a shift fee

due to the lower night time volume. Drivers are, however, responsible for

refueling the taxi

before the end of their shift.

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: No less than 60 per week
