Overview

We are seeking a reliable and professional Taxi Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to manage time efficiently. As a Taxi Driver, you will be responsible for transporting passengers safely and promptly to their destinations while ensuring a positive experience.

Responsibilities

Safely operate the taxi vehicle while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with their needs and ensuring a comfortable ride. Handle cash transactions accurately, providing change as necessary, and maintaining records of fares collected. Manage time effectively to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs, optimizing routes for efficiency. Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the taxi vehicle, ensuring it is in good working condition. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding passenger requests and any issues encountered on the road. Keep accurate records of daily activities, including mileage driven and passenger counts.

Experience

Previous experience in commercial driving or as a taxi driver is preferred but not required. Clean background, no criminal history. Strong cash handling skills to manage fares and transactions accurately. Excellent time management skills to ensure punctuality for pickups and drop-offs. Outstanding customer service skills to create a positive experience for passengers. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential. Must be willing to purchase a taxi license. Must speak english proficently.
