We are seeking a responsible and customer-focused Taxi Driver to provide safe, reliable transportation services to passengers. The ideal candidate will have excellent driving skills, a professional attitude, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves navigating city streets efficiently while ensuring passenger safety and comfort.

Duties

Safely operate taxi vehicles to transport passengers to their destinations promptly and efficiently. Greet passengers courteously, assist with boarding, and ensure their comfort during the ride. Manage fare collection through cash handling or electronic payment systems accurately. Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle to ensure safety and presentation standards. Follow all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure passenger safety at all times. Keep track of schedules and routes to optimize efficiency and reduce wait times. Communicate effectively with dispatchers or customers regarding pick-up and drop-off locations or delays.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Proven experience in driving, preferably in commercial or taxi services. Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse passenger needs professionally. Excellent time management skills to adhere to schedules and manage multiple trips efficiently. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly. Knowledge of local streets, routes, and traffic patterns is preferred. Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for providing a positive passenger experience.
