Our Downtown Vancouver client is looking for a permanent Tax Manager to join the team.
Excellent opportunity for someone looking to transition from public practice into industry.
**Salary ranging from $100-115K+ Bonus + Benefits**
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director of Tax, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of Canadian and US tax returns, including corporation returns, and partnership returns
- Preparation of tax provision working papers as part of the year-end audit
- Assisting with responses to tax audit inquiries
- Assisting with various research and other projects as required
- Assisting with acquisitions and reorganizations as required
- Responding to queries from operating divisions
- Designated CPA
- Previous tax accounting experience within public practice or industry
- 5+ years proven accounting and Canadian or US tax compliance experience
- Experience with preparation of or auditing tax provisions and tax returns
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
