We operate as a public practice accounting firm (CPA firm) situated in the heart of Richmond. Our dedication is to address the tax consulting and reporting requirements for both individual and corporate clients, specifically focusing on privately owned businesses and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families. We are actively seeking Tax Associates to become valuable members of our team.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist in the completion of tax engagements by computing taxes owed, preparing T1/T2/T3 tax returns (and other compliance slips), and preparing year-end tax forms (such as T3/T4/T5/NR4)
Assist in the preparation of CRA foreign reporting forms, including T1134 and T1135
Prepare journal entries and provide bookkeeping services as required by clients
Assist with compilation of working paper support for CRA review and audit requests relating to income taxes and excise tax filings
Assist in the preparation of correspondence, technical reports, client summaries, and presentations outlining findings, facts, and highlights resulting from the client engagement
Manage client communication and correspondence (answer and direct calls; send correspondence; meet and greet clients in an efficient, professional, and friendly manner)
Assist with ad-hoc client engagements
Provide support to tax managers
Provide exceptional client service as required
Other duties as required.
Job Requirement:
Practical experience in the income tax field at public practice setting is required
Knowledge and working experience in CRA foreign reporting requirements are highly preferred
Have a positive attitude, willing to learn new skills and accept a broad range of responsibilities, and flexible yet dependable
Attention to fine details and accuracy are critical
Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong focus on client service
Possess strong organizational and time management skills
Results-oriented individual with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adhere to strict deadlines
Willingness to accept a broad range of responsibilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin
Legally able to work in Canada

Pay: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
