experienced staff accountant who can not only take on tough projects

, but can also handle monthly clients in a digital environment. You will handle a variety of clients and be one of

our resident accounting experts.

Due to expansion, we are needing a Staff Accountant with solid Accounting Firm experience. If that is you, this may be the perfect opportunity for you!

We are looking for someone with experience working in an accounting firm, on multiple clients, with a good attitude, who is responsible, dependable with excellent, strong computer skills. We are looking for someone who is a problem solver, independent thinker and who can unravel a transaction and put it back together, figuring out problems and coming up with solutions, on their own.

Job description

We are looking for a star, someone with a good attitude, who is responsible, dependable and tech savvy.

The majority of work is within cloud based software, but we still have a regular flow of paper projects come to the office.

Duties include

:

Full cycle Accounting using QBO

Accounting projects Working knowledge of Federal and Provincial sales tax Special projects as assigned

Necessary Skills

:

QBO (QuickBooks Online), - is a

MUST

Excellent overall computer skills

Attention to detail and willingness to learn

Well organized and deadline oriented

Excel (very important)

Office 365

Other Requirements:

Must have a minimum of

5 years work experience as a staff accountant in an accounting firm

and have taken formal accounting training/courses

Must have Extensive working experience in QBO

Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Must have your own car as public transportation is difficult to Uxbridge

Job Type: Full-time 32 to 44 hours per week

Salary: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour depending on experience

Experience:

Canadian work experience: 5 years required. Must have experience working in a Canadian accounting firm as a staff accountant.
