WGI has the following career opportunity located at its office in Winnipeg, MB:

CORPORATE TAX ANALYST

Reporting to the Director of Tax & Risk Management, the ideal candidate will be a CPA with at least 3 years of progressively responsible experience with a particular focus on tax. The successful candidate will be a "hands-on" dedicated professional with superior analytical abilities complemented by exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

A solid tax background and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities are essential for this role. Primary responsibilities include the following:

• Preparing tax provisions, account reconciliations, and reporting packages
• Preparation of income tax returns and filings (i.e. T2s, T3s, T5s)
• Participating in corporate tax planning
• Working with tax authorities on any required correspondence

As a key member of the WGI Group's tax, finance and risk management functions, the candidate will also be involved in:

• Assisting with mergers & acquisitions
• Annual insurance renewals
• Assisting with the external audit
• Maintaining and improving compliance and risk management processes
• Special projects and other related tasks as required
