Your responsibilities:
In collaboration with the Corporate Tax Manager;
Compile information required for all Canadian and U.S. corporate returns;
Prepare various Canadian and US tax forms;
Participate in tax audits and prepare required documentation;
Assist in the preparation of quarterly accruals, including accounting entries and historical information (continuity schedules);
Follow-up and analyze notices of assessment and related payments
Follow-up and analyze notices of assessment and related payments; Perform general ledger account analyses (including inter-company) and prepare tax work sheets.
Your profile:
Bachelor\'s degree in accounting or other education;
CPA designation, (CA, CGA, CMA) or in progress;
Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience;
Strong analytical skills;
Ability to demonstrate resourcefulness, autonomy, attention to detail, initiative and commitment;
Excellent command of office automation tools such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
Knowledge of tax filing and tax forms software such as Corporate Taxprep and Taxprep Forms is an asset;
Knowledge of Oracle, an asset;
Ability to manage priorities well while meeting deadlines;
Ability to work well in a team environment and to communicate;
Bilingualism (French and English), both written and spoken, required.
