Our company is currently seeking enthusiastic, reliable and motivated Tasting Bar & Retail Sales Associates. The ideal candidate for this position should enjoy guiding customers through the tasting process and providing them with exceptional customer service while maintaining our retail space. All of our Tasting Bar & Retail Sales Associates are encouraged to expand their knowledge of the local industry, our company history, and our products to aid in guiding guests through both tasting bar, retail and private tasting experiences.
Responsibilities:
• Provide guests with exceptional hospitality and customer service.
• Drive sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.
• Complete cash and card transactions
• Communicate to our guests in an efficient, friendly and professional manner.
• Follow all store policies regarding customer safety, employee safety, customer engagement and inventory management.
• Maintain a tidy retail space by stocking and organizing displays.
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly tasks in a timely manner.
• Lead guided tastings of our wines on our beautiful estate vineyard.
• Effectively communicate with management regarding schedule, tasks, tours and sales.
What you bring:
• Knowledge and experience in the Sales, Service or Hospitality industry.
• Wine knowledge and wine industry experience.
• Basic computer and administrative task skills.
• Friendly customer service in a fast-paced sales environment.
• Ability to complete cash and card transactions on POS systems.
• Ability to manage an organized and clean retail and tasting space.
• Ability to lead guided tastings for tour groups.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual skills would be considered an asset.
• Problem-solving skills in both group and solo working environments.
• Certificates in Smart Serve, Serve Right, Food Safety and First Aid
• Must be over the age of 19 years.

Contract length: 7 months
Pay: From $15.70 per hour
