Talent Pathways Candidate Roster For Temporary Opportunities

Truro, NS - Halifax, NS, Canada

Job Description

Dalhousie\'s Talent Pathways temporary staffing program connects skilled and talented individuals with short-term hybrid and in-person job opportunities in Faculties and Administrative Units across our East Coast campuses.

Talent Pathways supports Dalhousie\'s strategic plans on equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility by creating opportunities for folks from underrepresented communities experiencing barriers to employment. A temporary placement is a \xe2\x80\x9cfoot in the door\xe2\x80\x9d to gain valuable experience in a unionized academic environment which increases the chances of finding an on-going position at Dal.

Opportunities through Talent Pathways are designated to applicants that identify as equity-deserving. Dalhousie defines equity-deserving groups as Indigenous persons (especially Mi\'kmaq), persons with a disability, racialized persons, including persons of Black/African descent (especially African Nova Scotians), women, and persons belonging to the 2SLGBTQ+ community. If you are a member of one of these equity-deserving groups, you must self-identify during the application process to be considered.
