What you will do

Are you ready for the opportunity to take on the challenge of being our new Talent Acquisition Sourcer & Brand Specialist? Reporting to the Senior Manager of Talent Attraction, you will work collaboratively with the recruitment specialists and hiring managers to develop recruitment and outreach strategies for difficult to hire talent segments and deliver impactful solutions to source diverse qualified candidates. You will play a critical role in leading the activities around those sourcing strategies and will be responsible for cultivating a pipeline of best-in-class talent through innovative outreach methods. And, as we continue to evolve our recruitment marketing strategy, you will be a key participant in the development, implementation and communication of a refreshed employer brand and EVP.
What you need to succeed

  • You have a gift for outreach and storytelling and know how to reach and engage your audience on a human level by:
    • using your knowledge of various talent sourcing methodologies and techniques including social networking channels and tools
    • demonstrating your experience at sourcing passive candidates creating pipelines, and nurturing candidate relationships across multiple channels in a variety of geographic regions
    • showcasing your Labour market knowledge and experience in gathering, analyzing, and presenting data and market intel to key stakeholders
    • utilizing your EDI recruiting experience and skills to collaborate with communities, ERGs, referral programs, and internal & external partners to drive hiring of underrepresented candidates
    • leveraging our existing social media partnerships to maximize our organizations\xe2\x80\x99 reach and appeal
  • You think strategically and have the ability to multi task and prioritize, as well as roll up your sleeves and switch gears within a dynamic and fun environment.
  • You demonstrate exceptional team and collaboration skills, and have a great history of building cross-functional relationships and experience partnering with internal stakeholders.

Nice-to-have
  • Experience managing and strategically employing social media accounts based on broad job market awareness and analytics
  • Experience in the development of a Talent Sourcing function within a recruitment team
  • Data literacy skills such as being able to read, analyze, utilize data as well as communicate the findings to stakeholders; knowing what data is appropriate to use for a particular purpose; interpreting data visualizations (such as graphs and charts); and thinking critically about information yielded by data analysis

Your education and experience

This position requires a bachelor\'s degree with three years or more of experience in a recruiting role as well as a minimum of two years of experience as a talent sourcer. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
What you need to know
  • Language requirement: English and French essential (bilingual) with a minimum starting level of functional (level 4) in second official language. Training may be provided to help reach the required level of fully functional (level 5) in second official language.
  • Priority will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents
  • There will be no relocation assistance provided

Remote work / Hybrid Work Model
#LI-Remote The Bank is conducting a trial of a hybrid working model which provides employees with the flexibility to telework for significant portions of each month. During the trial, employees will be expected to come onsite on those days when they are involved in activities that they or their leader feel are better conducted in person and to build connections with colleagues. For the majority of employees, it is expected that onsite time will range from 5 to 10 days per month, depending on your role. You must live in Canada, and within reasonable commuting distance of the office. For this position, should you not live within reasonable commuting distance of the office, you will be able to work 100% remote (within Canada) for the duration of this term.

  • Salaries are based on qualifications and experience and typically range from $83,500 to $98,200 (job grade 16)
  • Depending on performance, you may be eligible for performance pay for successfully meeting (5 to 7% of your base salary) or for exceeding expectations (10% of your base salary). Exceptional performers who far exceed expectations may be eligible for higher performance pay.
